CTV launches MedNews Express
CTVglobemedia launched a new extension of CTV.ca and free e-newsletter service called CTV MedNews Express yesterday. The service aims to deliver e-mail alerts and immediate reports on health and medical info - such as product recalls, pharmaceutical news, infectious disease outbreaks, journal studies and Health Canada advisories.
CTV MedNews Express targets health professionals and patients. The newsletter will be distributed twice a week to subscribers at no charge. It will feature contributions from CTV's health and medical journalists at CTV.ca/MedNewsExpress.
The site, like CTV.ca, will be ad-supported. Sponsorship opportunities for CTV.ca/MedNewsExpress and the newsletter are available.
