Carrefour Angrignon campaign hunts holiday spirit

While holiday shoppers go into their annual frenzy, a Montreal shopping centre is reminding them not to forget the season's meaning in a retro-style campaign dubbed "Catch the Holiday Spirit."

With creative by the city's Beauchemin Communication Marketing, the outdoor and print initiatives conjure up warm memories to complement Carrefour Angrignon's fairytale-style Christmas decorations.

Strategically deployed near the shopping centre are three billboards featuring excited children trying different tricks to catch the holiday spirit. Print ads and radio spots in various local and regional vehicles are cast in the same gently humourous vein. Media buys were handled by Montreal's Challenge Media.

Media Experts promotes Davis

Media Experts has promoted Kris Davis to VP customer service. In his expanded role, he will continue to lead specific customer business as well as take the lead on the application of the Toronto-based agency's strategic media planning initiatives.

Davis joined Media Experts in 2002 as planning account director, and has worked for such clients as Astral Media, CNW, ING Direct, Sanyo and WestJet.
