Survivor soars past scripted fare
BBM/Nielsen Top 30 - Feb. 4-10

Here are the *REVISED* national winners (for all persons 2+; all times ET), according to BBM/Nielsen, for Feb. 4-10.

News and daily shows: CTV Evening News at 6 pm stayed at #8 with an average minute audience of 1.554 million viewers (down from 1.629 million on the previous week's national chart). The net's Jeopardy/Access Hollywood at 7:30 pm fell to #15 with 1.238 million (down from 1.255 million). Global National at 5:30 pm fell to #26 with 999,000 (up from 976,000). CTV's Dr. Phil at 5 pm hit #28 with 923,000 viewers.

Monday: CTV's Corner Gas at 8 pm climbed to #10 with 1.41 million (up from 1.181 million), while Welcome to the Captain at 8:30 pm hit #21 with 1.079 million viewers. Global's Prison Break, competing in the 8 pm time slot, hit #19 with 1.139 million viewers. CTV's CSI: Miami at 10 pm hit #18 with 1.16 million, while Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles took the 9 pm time slot at #24 with 1.043 million viewers.

Tuesday: CTV's American Idol at 8 pm went to #3 with 2.439 million viewers (down from 2.821 million) against CBC's Rick Mercer Report, which stayed at #27 with 970,000 (up from 904,000), and Global's NCIS, which fell to #30 with 911,000 (down from 1.246 million). Global's House at 9 pm climbed one spot to #4 with 2.017 million (down from 2.305 million) against CTV's Law & Order, which hit #13 with 1.272 million (up from the 1.001 million earned by Criminal Minds in that time slot the previous week). CTV's Law & Order: SVU won the 10 pm time slot, falling to #16 with 1.232 million viewers (down from 1.553 million).

Wednesday: CTV's American Idol at 8 pm took #1 with 2.698 million (down from 2.805 million). The net's CSI: New York hit #5 with 1.806 million (down from 1.825 million delivered by Law & Order in that time slot the previous week), while The Moment of Truth at 9 pm gave CTV another straight win over Wednesday night's prime time sked. That show stayed at #9 with 1.508 million (down from 1.587 million).

Thursday Global's Survivor: Micronesia at 8 pm shot straight to #2 with 2.544 million viewers, pushing CTV's CSI into #20 with 1.097 million. CTV won 9 pm with Lost, which stayed strong at #6 with 1.702 million (down from its previous 9 pm audience of 1.855 million but up from the prior week's 8 pm average of 1.553 million). Global's Celebrity Apprentice at 9 pm climbed to #17 with 1.203 million (up from 960,000). CTV's Eli Stone at 10 pm won that time slot without competition on the chart, but it fell to #25 with 1.004 million (down from 1.219 million).

Friday: Global's Las Vegas at 10 pm took #29 with 919,000 viewers.

Saturday: CBC's Hockey Night in Canada Game One, airing 7-10:02 pm, climbed to #11 with 1.344 million viewers (up from 1.133 million), while the pubcaster's Hockey Day in Canada afternoon programming (3-6 pm) was #22 with 1.046 million. CTV's Evening News weekend average, for Saturday and Sunday, takes #14 with 1.269 million (up from 1.081 million).

Sunday: Global's Grammy Awards, airing 8-11:39 pm, was #7 with 1.652 million viewers (down from last year's average of 1.826 million). CTV's Cold Case at 8 pm takes #23 with 1.044 million, leading into the net's movie Mayerthorpe, which was #12 with 1.28 million.
