Animated posters hit Montreal's transit
Luminous Media Canada, the Woodstock, Ont.-based company that produced the world's first electroluminescent billboard campaign, is now working its magic - on behalf of Pontiac's Vibe - throughout Montreal's transit system.
With striking creative by Cossette's Identica Branding, media buys by Cossette Montreal and collaboration with Metro Media Plus, huge animated ads (6.5' x 4') are now appearing at subway stations. Thanks to EL technology, they are paper-thin advertisements that light up and flash in custom sequences. Similar to neon signage, the Vibe ads feature a moving red line drawing, which becomes a city skyline. Then the ad's tagline - "Vivez La Vibe" - appears along with the Pontiac logo and the car's headlights.
As well as transit and subway ads, the Vibe campaign includes retail and in-store signage, window signage, POS and POP displays and full-size billboards.
