EcoMedia Direct intros portable recycling units
Toronto-HQ'd EcoMedia Direct has added another product to its environmentally friendly line. The ad-friendly unit is a portable recycling bin for use at special events.
"The printed covers for our new recycling units are made to order for individual advertisers," EcoMedia CEO Erich Genseberger tells MiC. "This product creates a brand new 'Eco-Friendly' Out of Home media niche. Whether a municipality, company, agency or organization is launching a strategic brand advertising campaign or a marketing communications initiative which might, for example, convey a 'Going Green' message, we will be able to provide it.
"One of the key features of these durable and reusable EcoCovers and EcoFrames is their flexibility," Genseberger adds. "For example, the end panels on the EcoCovers are zippered in, and can be switched in and out for different events. In the past week, a company placed an order for multiple units for one of its community-based events being held throughout Ontario. The company has hundreds of offices and is considering a broader rollout to all the markets it serves. We also believe municipalities will be able to offset some of their costs by inviting corporations to co-brand the units at events they host - so it's a win-win for everyone."
