Parks Quebec chooses indoor fashion network

To increase the visibility of some of the national parks in Québec, provincial organization Sépaq has chosen Zoom Media's indoor network of fitting rooms.

Cécile Falardeau, account director in Cossette Media's Montreal office, says exposing inviting images from Sépaq's summer campaign to shoppers who may be trying on summer clothing is a natural fit. And, she adds, "the creativity provided by this project attracted us because its impact will be at the grandeur level of the Québec national parks' landscapes."

Until June 29, the creative depicting parc national du Mont-Tremblant, parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie and parc national de la Jacques-Cartier - designed in-house at Sépaq - will grace the walls and doors of 22 Atmosphère and Sports Experts boutiques in Montreal and Quebec City.

"The concept's spectacular visual effect enables our clients to experience a moment of freedom and escape," explains Louis Côté, director at Sports Experts in downtown Montreal.

Astral Media Radio bows biz website, newsletter

Montreal-based Astral Media Radio announced yesterday that it is launching a business website to help advertisers make more informed decisions for campaigns on its network of 82 radio stations.

The new website features reports and analyses "showing the latest economic and consumer trends" plus station stats "audience profiles, socio-demographic statistics." The initiative has two phases, first focusing on Astral's French-language radio stations across Quebec, followed by more in-depth information on Astral's English-language stations.

Additionally, Astral Media Radio announced a new business newsletter. Meant to be "both useful and entertaining," it will feature news on Astral's radio programming and developments. Those who subscribe to the newsletter before June 16 will have a chance to win travelers' cheques from Vacances TMR valued at $5,000.
