Ontario Place tries wild postings for upcoming exhibit
When a jet arrived in Toronto from China recently - according to an emergency news release sent to MiC by Ontario Place - 686 crates containing treasures from China's legendary Zigong Museum arrived safely.
Their contents are destined for the Rogers Chinese Lantern Festival at the Ontario Place from July 31 - October 12. But a 687th crate is missing. Without its contents, a 65-foot castle composed of 250,000 fine china plates cannot be completed.
That's why Ontario Place is scattering wild postings in high-traffic areas of Toronto headlined: Have You Seen This Crate? The initiative was developed in-house at the amusement complex, and will be rotated through various locations for the next week.
Anyone with clues to the crate's whereabouts is urged to report them at www.chineselanternfestival.ca.
