W Network gets busy online and on air
Corus Entertainment's W Network is launching an online contest "W Experts Search" for anyone with special skills pertaining to the home, garden, health, wellness, beauty and style. In September, wanna-be Martha Stewarts (or Clinton Kellys) can submit videos online for viewer rating. The top talent will be included in W Network programming specials of next year.
Also, the net's premiering Anna and Kristina's Grocery Bag on Wednesday, September 3 at 8 pm. The co-hosts of The Shopping Bags will test cookbook recipes, ingredients and appliances to see if they can recreate the advertised meals.
The home renovation show Love It or List It debuts on Monday, September 8 at 9 pm. Hosted by realtor David Visentin and designer Hilary Far, the series explores the housing market and ways to invest in home improvement.
How To Look Good Naked returns for its third season on Tuesday, September 2 at 10 pm, and for those who want to look good clothed, Gok's Fashion Fix airs on Wednesday, September 3 at 10 pm. Co-hosted by Fashion expert Gok Wan (How To Look Good Naked) and former model Alexa Chung, the show includes a traveling runway, exotic locales and special guests including Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld and Roberto Cavalli.
