E! celebrates first birthday by bowing four new series
Canwest's E! is celebrating its first anniversary by kicking off its fall season with four new series. Do Not Disturb, starring Jerry O'Connell (Crossing Jordan), premieres on Monday, Sept. 8 at 9 pm ET/PT. The comedy is set in a hip New York hotel complete with chic décor and a celebrity clientele.
Worst Week is another comedy set to debut on E! Starring Kyle Bornheimer (Jericho) and Erinn Hayes (Kitchen Confidential), the show follows a magazine editor who becomes a one-man wrecking crew whenever he's around his girlfriend's parents. The show premieres on Monday, Sept. 22 at 9:30 pm ET/PT.
Knight Rider bows on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 8 pm ET/PT. The modern-day remake, starring Justin Bruening (pictured - Cold Case) and Deanna Russo (NCIS), pairs two childhood friends with a new and improved KITT (Knight Industries Three Thousand) - a car that helps the friends thwart villains with its sophisticated technology.
Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live) and Selma Blair (Hellboy) star in Kath & Kim. The comedy, which premieres on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 8:30 pm ET/PT, follows along with a dysfunctional mother/daughter duo living in suburbia.
E! has also announced season premiere dates for some returning favourites. The sixth season of The Biggest Loser kicks off on Monday, Sept. 16 at 8 pm ET/PT with a two-hour season premiere. How I Met Your Mother season four is set to debut on Monday, Sept. 22 at 8:30 pm ET/PT, along with season five of Boston Legal at 10 pm ET/PT.
My Name is Earl returns to E! for its fourth season on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 8 pm ET/PT, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition kicks off its sixth season on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 7 pm ET/PT with a two-hour season premiere.
