CBC's The National stays on top
BBM/Nielsen Top 30: Aug. 18 - 24, 2008
Here are the national champs (for all persons 2+; all times ET) according to BBM/Nielsen for August. 18 - August. 24, 2008.
Monday - Friday: CBC's The National, airing at 10:32 pm due to the Olympics, stayed at the top of the ratings list for the entire work week for the second week in a row, with an average minute audience of 1.329 million viewers (down from 1.371 last week).
Saturday: The Olympics on CBC at 6 pm took the top spot honours with 1.249 million viewers (down from 1.337 million last Saturday).
Sunday: The Olympic Closing Ceremonies was number, achieving an audience of 1.486 million viewers (up from the 1.337 million viewers that Olympic prime brought in on the same day last week).
