National Geographic announces October line-up
The National Geographic Channel will present the Canadian premiere of Big, Bigger, Biggest on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 9 pm. The series features very large buildings, including the world's tallest skyscraper (the Burj Dubai) and the world's largest airport (London's Heathrow), using a mix of CGI animation and on-location filming.
Also on National Geographic, Human Ape will premiere Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 8 pm. The series explores what our ape cousins can and cannot do, while investigating exactly what's in the less than 2% of DNA that makes us the human ape.
A Man Among Bears will debut on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 8 pm and showcase insights into the behaviour and individual personalities of 45 black bears.
Long Way Down will air on Tuesdays at 10 pm, beginning Oct. 21. Traversing more than 24,000 kilometres of tough terrain and dangerous roads, the new series follows actors Ewan McGregor (pictured - Moulin Rouge) and Charley Boorman (The Serpent's Kiss) as they set off on another adventure from Scotland to Africa.
