Heroes take top spot
The third season of Heroes premiered with 1.3 million Canadian viewers ages 18 to 49 on Canwest's Global, reigning over the premiere of CTV's Dancing with the Stars by 41% in Toronto, 68% in Vancouver and 38% in Calgary. As well, it beat Prison Break, also on Global, and CTV's CSI Miami in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver with 287,000, 52,000 and 197,000 viewers, respectively, this week.
Compared to last year, Heroes' audience grew by 5% in Toronto, 10% in Vancouver and 11% in Calgary.
Audiences also tuned in that Monday evening for CBC's The Englishman's Boy, National Current Affairs and The National, which scored the highest DMA in Vancouver at 14,000.
