Chocolate News debuts on The Comedy Network
Targeting male audiences ages 18 to 34, The Chocolate News, hosted by Tony Award winner David Alan Grier (In Living Colour), is set to premiere Thursday Oct. 16 at 10:30 pm ET/PT on The Comedy Network, with encore episodes available online the following day.
During the half-hour, 10-ep timeslots, Grier portrays multiple characters in the show's investigative reports, which examine contemporary topics such as the Obama/Oprah relationship from an African-American outlook.
The show is executive produced by Grier, Robert Morton (Mind of Mencia), Fax Bahr (MADtv), Adam Small and independent production and management studio Generate's Peter Aronson and Jordan Levin.
CTVglobemedia's The Comedy Network is available to over five million Canadian households.
