Specialty channel series head to CTV
Breeder of the Pack and The Chef's Domain, which premiered this summer on Animal Planet and Travel + Escape respectively, found a new home on CTV, broadening their viewership to a national audience on Saturday afternoons.
Debuting tomorrow at 2:30 pm ET, the five-part series Breeder of the Pack profiles Canadian dog breeders making their mark in the canine world. Targeting the 18-24 female demo, the show has been promoted on dog lovers' sites like CanineCampus.ca, The Hamilton Spectator's Dogs' section and in online forums like canadianhuntingdogs.com.
Later on Saturday afternoons, starting Nov. 22 at 1 pm ET, cross-Canada culinary adventure series The Chef's Domain will follow the journeys of exceptional chefs. Each will advocate the suppliers who provide them with local bounty. Targeting the slightly older 24-49 female crowd, this show has been buzzed about in the food and travel sections of newspapers including the Globe and Mail, Vancouver Sun, Calgary Herald and Toronto Star as well as in foodie blogs like Canadian Living and gremolata.com.
