ACTRA reaches (another) tentative settlement with advertisers
The Association of Canadian Advertisers and the Institute of Communication Agencies have reached another tentative settlement with ACTRA. Key elements of the local and regional TV and radio commercial addendum to the National Commercial Agreement (NCA), which governs commercial production outside of Toronto and Montreal, include a reduction in the minimum guarantee in television from 1:30 minutes to 1 minute of finished commercials, general increases and expanded new media opportunities.
The addendum follows the conclusion of a tentative agreement on new terms for the complete NCA. ACTRA members are expected to vote on the terms addendum in the upcoming weeks.
